ABOUT US
The Midwifery Training College, Tumu, is one of a few Health Training Institutions in the Upper West Region of Ghana with the core objective of training professional midwives. The college operates under the broad policy framework of the Health Training Institutions unit of the Ministry of Health of the Government of Ghana.
OUR PROGRAMMES
We offer Midwifery programmes tailor-made for High School leavers and also for Registered Nurse Assistants seeking a career change.
OUR MISSION
The Midwifery Training College, Tumu advances to provide quality training of midwives as a nexus to reducing maternal and child mortality to contribute to the general health and wellbeing of the communities with whom it engages.

We aspire to be a Centre of excellence in Nursing and Midwifery training in Ghana and beyond.

Nashira discusses why she chose MTCT and how the faculty's close connection and support affects her stay on campus. While other institutions may stick to "the way it's always been done," Nashira believes MTCT is growing and changing on a daily basis.
